United Grappling Foundation is a nonprofit based in Redwood City, California, with a mission to make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu accessible to every child—regardless of their financial circumstances. We believe in the transformative power of BJJ. It’s not just a martial art—it’s a path to discipline, confidence, and community. But for many families, the cost of training can be a real barrier. Our goal is simple: remove that barrier. Through community donations and sponsorships, we provide scholarships that cover the cost of academy memberships, uniforms, and other essential gear. We work directly with local BJJ schools to identify kids from under-resourced backgrounds who are eager to train but can’t afford to.
